New Builds and ADUs

New construction and ADU drywall work is a different job than repairs — instead of matching what's already there, we're setting the standard for the whole space from the studs out. Whether it's a full custom home, a room addition, or an accessory dwelling unit, we handle the complete drywall scope: hanging, taping, texture, and finish.

What's included

  • Hanging drywall on new framing, including ceilings, walls, and any specialty angles or soffits

  • Taping and mudding all seams to a smooth, professional finish

  • Texture application — knockdown, orange peel, or smooth Level 5 finish, matched to spec or your preference

  • Fire taping for garages and shared walls where code requires it

  • Coordination around your general contractor's timeline, since drywall is one of the trades everyone else is waiting on

Why ADUs are their own thing

ADUs have become one of our most common calls across the Inland Empire and Orange County as more homeowners add rental units or space for family. They come with their own code requirements — fire-rated assemblies between the ADU and the main house in many cases, specific insulation and moisture barriers — and we build to those specs from the start rather than trying to retrofit a repair job into a code-compliant one later.

Working with your GC or builder

On new construction, timing matters. We work directly with general contractors and builders to hit the schedule, since drywall holds up paint, trim, flooring, and everything that comes after it. We show up when we say we will and keep the job moving.

Estimates

Every project gets a free, in-person estimate — new builds and ADUs vary too much in size and scope for a phone quote to be accurate. We serve Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Redlands, and the surrounding Inland Empire and Orange County, and we're licensed, insured, and bonded (LIC #857840).
